The Municipality of
Guinayangan, Quezon is presently classified as a 4th
class municipality, however, because of the
amenities and facilities existing within the
municipality, it is sometimes mistaken to be a 2nd
class municipality. Proof of this includes the
existing facilities of the public market, the
municipal fish port, the ever-growing public utility
bus transportation business, resorts operations,
modern communication facilities, engineering
constructions, and the high-tempo of
urbanization particularly in the Metro Poblacion
area.
Today we are capitalizing on these advantages to attract light
manufacturing, tourism industries,
commercial banking and trading investments.
As of this date, the Office of the Municipal Mayor
has issued 269 Business Permits consisting mostly of
small and medium business enterprises.
The Per Capita Income is computed at
P 20,400.00.
