A
5-man Team from the Second Agrarian Reform
Communities Development Project (ARCDP2) Central and
Provincial Project Office visited the municipality
on July 29, 2004 to appraise the proposed 6.5km
Re-construction of San Isidro-Capuluan Central-Capuluan
Tulon Farm-to-Market Road in SICAP2 ARC. The Team
is composed of Engr. Renato A. Jaca, Rural
Infrastructure Engineer (RIE) of ARCDP-PPO, Engr.
Venancio A. Coronado, Jr., Financial/Economic
Analyst (FEA) of ARCDP-PPO, Ms. Ranelisa DG. Samiano,
CSSS, ARCDP-CPO, Miss Josie, Financial/Economic
Analyst (FEA), ARCDP-CPO and Ms. Ling Mercader, JRS,
ARCDP-CPO. The Team was assisted and brought to the
project site by Engr. Enrique A. Villanea, Project
Engineer, ARCDP-PLO, after the team’s courtesy visit
to Hon. Mayor Manuel M. Butardo.
The
proposed sub project is to be funded by World
Bank-Second Agrarian Reform Communities Development
Project (WB-ARCDP2) and by the Municipal Government
of Guinayangan on a 60-40% Cost Sharing Scheme. The
Municipal Government has also requested P2 Million
financial assistance as counterpart fund from the
Provincial Government of Quezon through the Hon.
Gov. Wilfrido L. Enverga thru Sangguniang Bayan
Resolution No. 79-04 sponsored by Hon. SB Member
Rogelio G. Pedrezuela and was unanimously approved
by all Sangguniang Bayan Members present on July 16,
2004. The initial Program of Works (POW) prepared
by ARCDP-PLO and ARCDP-PPO showed that the proposed
sub-project costs Fifteen Million Two Hundred Thirty
Two Thousand Twenty Two Pesos and 34/100 (P
15,232,022.34).
The Team will
present their appraisal report to the ARCPD
Sub-Project Approval Committee (ARCDP-SAC) for
deliberation, endorsement and subsequent approval.
The ARCDP-SAC is chaired by the ARCDP Chief
Technical Advisor, Dir. Adelberto B. Baniqued. |
